Volunteers in the Mobile Bay Oyster Gardening Program grew more than 50,100 oysters this season. These people and organizations make the restoration program work: volunteers, Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant, Mobile Bay National Estuary Program, Alabama Clean Water Partnership – Coastal Basin, The Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Auburn University Shellfish Lab, the Auburn University Department of Fisheries and Allied Aquaculture, the Auburn University Marine Extension and Research Center and the Alabama Marine Resources Division.
