WORKSHOP REPORT: Improving Oil Spill Preparedness and Response in Santa Barbara, CA

This day-long workshop convened practitioners and stakeholders to address social and economic dimensions of oil spills, public health, public communication, spill prevention, and identify research needs for future oil spill response. Attendees reviewed challenges faced and lessons learned from the 2015 Refugio spill and discuss improvements in future oil spill response.
